Ethical Issues When Working with Couples
In this 3 CE workshop learn to identify, structure to prevent, and resolve ethical issues around confidentiality, boundaries, and violence when working with couples. Each ethical topic will be demonstrated by a scenario, ethical issues will be discussed, and participants will have an opportunity to practice prevention or resolution.
This workshop will be next offered on May 31, 2011 from 1 to 4:15 pm 3 CE, $50 with 3 CE, FREE to full-time mental health students. Presented by Mary Ortwein, MS, LFMT.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this training participants will be able to:
• Identify common ethical issues when working with couples around confidentiality, violence, and boundaries.
• Prevent common ethical dilemmas when working with couples around confidentiality, violence, and boundaries.
• Resolve appropriately common slippery slopes when working with couples around confidentiality, violence, and boundaries.
