Relationship Enhancement for Refugees and Immigrants
Relationship Enhancement for Refugees and Immigrants was developed as a joint effort between IDEALS and the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI). Participant materials have been developed in English, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Nepali, Burmese, and Somali.
The program is divided into three 8 hour modules. The first two modules teach 10 RE skills and discuss topics of adjustment to America. The third module combines RE skills with information about Money in America.
Currently the program is being used in Erie, Pennsylvania, Burlington, Vermont, Albany, New York, Raleigh, North Carolina, Kansas City, Missouri, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Houston, Texas, St. Louis, Missouri, and Glendale, California.
